OnX Enterprise Solutions Maximizes Changing IT Landscape, Successfully Transitions from Traditional Technology Models to Hybrid Cloud Solutions

Transition is Catalyst for New Offerings, Expanded Team and Record Growth in First Half of FY 2014

TORONTO, Ontario and NEW YORK, NY: OnX Enterprise Solutions, a leading enterprise data center IT solutions provider, today announced record first half sales and growth for the Company in Canada. The Company’s adoption of industry-leading private and public cloud solutions drove success throughout 2013, but specifically since May 1, the beginning of the Company’s FY 2014. By leveraging strategic partnerships and investing in new talent, OnX successfully implemented a variety of IT solutions leveraging diverse delivery models, from traditional technology consumption models such as server, storage and network, to a wide range of cloud computing solutions.

OnX Canada performed especially well in the first half of fiscal year 2014, with high growth and the addition of industry veterans to expand OnX’s team in order to better serve clients. In the first half of FY 2014, OnX Canada recorded 20% revenue growth and 50% growth in profitability over the same period FY 2013. OnX attributes this growth to the Company having converted many of its clients from traditional technology consumption models to private and public cloud solutions models. The OnX suite of Cloud and Managed Services encompasses traditional dedicated private hosting and multi-tenant managed cloud solutions for enterprise production environments, as well as self-serve solutions for development and testing environments. With a vast solutions portfolio and talented consulting and professional services team, OnX can custom design its IT solutions and services to ensure they meet specific client requirements.

“OnX’s bid was the best fit for our needs as we looked to replace our aging storage infrastructure with a new storage and disaster recovery solution,” said Ian Mackay, division manager of IT for the City of London in Ontario, Canada. “The OnX team and its best-in-breed partners, who we have worked with several times in the past, leveraged their knowledge of our infrastructure and processes to design a solution that allowed us to extend the useful life of our existing system, while meeting our rapidly evolving needs for reliable, secure storage.”

In the first half of FY 2014, OnX also welcomed the addition of Perry Winklemann as Vice President of Sales in the West, and Terry Lillico as Vice President of Professional Services. Winklemann, previously from SAP Canada, brings extensive experience and a proven track record of success in multiple verticals such as Oil & Gas, Government, Healthcare, and Distribution. Lillico, previously from OpenText, Burntsand and Deloitte & Touche Solutions, joins OnX with over 25 years in the IT services industry and is chartered with setting the strategy and driving growth of OnX’s professional services business in Canada.

“We are excited about the strong growth in our Canadian business, which bodes well for continued growth throughout North America,” said Paul Khawaja, President, OnX Canada. “We saw the sharp shift away from the traditional model of IT consumption, and recognized immediately that we could be a leader in Cloud enablement given the strength of our flexible Hybrid Cloud and Converged Infrastructure strategies. As this demand for additional cloud and data center solutions increases, we are very well positioned to help our clients succeed given the knowledge of our Professional Services team and proven solutions approach.”
